We are working with adults who have been the victims of human trafficking and modern slavery. Many of the victims of domestic violence and human trafficking/modern slavery come from countries that do not speak English. The victims are referred to us by local Refuges and other Public Bodies with a view to providing them with language support.
We have developed Entry Level ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses for adults who are unable to speak English. We provide 3 courses of 20 x 2 hr. sessions.
This improves their English and helps them to cope and recover from the impacts of crime.
This course is funded by the West Yorkshire Crime Commissioners Safer Communities Fund
